The Christmas season brings the family home again to Sunshine Mountain.  Days are filled with special visitors, events at church and camp, baking, one special birthday, decorating, visiting the Town Center Tree, gifts and much much more.
After the tree is decorated and the "angel band" is in place, other December events included a Christmas dinner at Faith Christian Camp, decorating at church, and an "up-close" visit by a few of the deer population.  A visit to the singing tree at Town Center is always a good time for "grands" to celebrate.  A special birthday celebration also fits in nicely.  The annual Bretzel baking tradition continues.  And what would a holiday be like without Coco?
Christmas Eve saw Scrabble games and Christmas movies.  Christmas morning saw Alec join the girls for the traditional "top of the stairs" photo.  The most special time is often reading the account of our Savior's birth on Christmas morning.  McKenna's prayer this year was special, as was Nana's gift to all the girls of a goblet from Grannie's wedding.
One BIG family gathering came together for a Christmas afternoon meal of lasagna and pasta.  And then it was time to expect that Kenna's rendition of Auld Lang Syne would be ready for the New Year.
The day is done.
The day is done.
